On the weekend my friend Carrie and I visited a little gallery named  The Tate Gallery   It opened in 2011 and is located just north of Port Hope. It is a beautiful venue that showcases the work of fine contemporary artists. Drop in and enjoy some inspiring art!!  Pamela Tate, who is the owner of the gallery, is also an artist and is the perfect hostess! www.pamelatate.com

SOLD! Sorry everyone... It seems that I am falling behind on the blog. Someone contacted me months ago regarding this painting and I didn't mark it "sold". Then I forgot... Someone else recently told me they were interested in it and it all came flooding back! Whoops! Please... if you told me that you are interested in a painting and I didn't mark it off "sold"  call me or email me, I won't be offended! Nancy - nancy@seastarimages.com  :)
SOLD! Maya will be moving in August from the Northumberland Hospital, where she is now,  to a private collection in Whitby, Ontario.
I was over at my friend Sue's place on the weekend and I found a painting on her wall  that I had given her for her 50th. Very abstract - Its call "Glads".
