As an artist, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to paint and draw without boundaries. My style is largely experimental with an emphasis on landscape, figure, portrait and abstract art. I never set out to replicate an image but instead strive to convey a mood or evoke an emotion using loose lines, rich textures and bold colours.

From one extreme to another...
I like to paint .....
the challenging human figure and colourful carefree flowers,
then beautiful country landscapes and, lately... the city! Cause... why not?
I find if I concentrate on one subject for too long then I become bored
and forget what attracted me to it in the first place.
I'm making sure that I have enough pieces for the Artist Project, 2018! One of the most popular colour trends this year is dramatic PURPLE. Purple Reigns (detail) 72" x 24" Acrylic on Canvas Getting excited!!
I'm having a great time painting specifically for the Artist Project.
I have left myself plenty of time to select pieces which will create a cohesive flow of work.
I find it very therapeutic!
