And again, trying something new. This painting is of Tenje and has been done over an existing painting of a map of Canada. If you look close you can see the existing land and water masses and a caption - and I don't know what it reads any more.
As an artist, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to paint and draw without boundaries. My style is largely experimental with an emphasis on landscape and abstract art. I never set out to replicate an image but instead strive to convey a mood or evoke an emotion using loose lines, rich textures and bold colours.
