Thought that I'd post some life drawing pictures as I haven't in a while. This is conté on craft paper. Janet and I are still drawing with a Life Drawing group who meets in Cobourg. Its a great way to keep up your skills! It's Monday evenings at the fire hall and only $10 per class (no instruction) if you are interested. To check out more drawings look under the heading "Figures" Enjoy!
I have just dropped this piece off to Impresario Market in Cobourg on the weekend. A great town to visit!
And so this is the painting completed! Birch Study #2 36" x 24" Acrylic on Canvas $600
I spent the weekend painting.... sounds lonely but I really enjoy it. Don't forget to comment on the pieces you prefer. I like positive feedback.... if its not positive then I don't want to hear it :) Kiddn' (not really, lol) This is the latest birch that I'm working on.  I have a few hours left... and a bottle of wine or so...
On Monday April 2nd I hung 7 paintings at a coffee house called The Grind House in Campbellford. I became a member of the Spirit of the Hills in January which arranges to hang local artists in local places. Its a great idea for those of us who want to get recognized around town. If you look at the pictures close enough you can see 2 new paintings.
