I managed to finish this piece over the holidays.
It's 48" x 36" and was easy to work on with my new super-duper easel.

As an artist, I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to paint and draw without boundaries. My style is largely experimental with an emphasis on landscape and abstract art. I never set out to replicate an image but instead strive to convey a mood or evoke an emotion using loose lines, rich textures and bold colours.

Hi Nancy. I am the guy who took the original picture that you based this on and I must tell you I love it. I didn't see anything special in the picture I took, just that the lighting was cool, but you obviously saw something in it that I didn't. Stunning
